Fourth "It's Okay To Sing In Norbucks" Sticker Found on Campus

A fourth “It’s Okay To Sing In Norbucks” sticker was found Sargent Dining Hall, according to a University release.

The discovery of this sticker marks the latest update in a string of incidents that have recently unfolded across campus. Three other stickers displaying the messages, “It’s Okay To Drink BrewBike,” “Its Okay To Walk Around The Library Barefoot,” and “It’s Okay To Talk On The Phone While Peeing” have also been found.

School of Communication first-year Jessica Adams said she and her friends found the sticker towards the back of the dining hall last weekend. Although she thought the stickers were a joke at first, Adams said their presence makes her feel comfortable and secure.

“I just feel really validated by these stickers, you know,” Adams said. “It makes me feel like I belong on this campus, even when people try to say things like ‘shut the hell up, I'm trying to study’ or ‘put your shoes on, the library isn’t your house’ and ‘BrewBike is just gentrified Cafe Bergson’ or whatever.”

“Northwestern strongly condemns such messages,” a press release from University administration said. “We take such incidents seriously, and will investigate thoroughly. We are going to form a unique task force, then investigate this task force to ensure there are no conflicts of interests, like being a member of The Dolphin Show or participants of Dance Marathon, and we are even fast-tracking this process to show students that we are deeply concerned with this matter. We hope to roll out results by 2056,” the press release read.
