Is this the Dillo Day Line-Up? (By The Curious Cat, Sherman Ave Gossip Editor)
It’s been over two weeks since Mayfest announced that English pop sensation Charli XCX will be the daytime headliner for this year’s Dillo Day. Per usual, Mayfest is keeping the remainder of the line-up close to the chest, but this reported got a hot tip a couple nights ago.
Could this really be the Dillo Day line-up? Are the Northwestern students really so lucky to have The Piano Man and Deadmau5 on the same day!? However, when I checked the Wikipedia page a second time, the new additions were deleted. This required further sleuthing by me, the world’s greatest detective! Now, I’ve never been one to pass up an anonymous source, so I obliged and saw my dream line-up!
I had a hunch that if it was line-up was leaked to Wikipedia, it would be on the Dillo Day official website. When I got to the Dillo Day site, I again saw the fabled lineup:
Looks legit! This reporter nearly creamed his jeans when he saw this. After taking the screenshot, I refreshed the site to make sure I wasn’t dreaming, but, just like Wikipedia, the line-up disappeared. At this point, I thought I was getting zonked by a real zonk king and nearly walked into the lakefill wearing a coat full of stones. Then, I received this email:
Oh brother, I don’t know what to believe anymore! Will Mayfest confirm the line-up or is it just another hoax?
