BREAKING: Blinds in Student’s Room Broken

via blog.blinds.com EVANSTON, IL—As of 5:30 PM CST, Sunday, April 26, 2015, the window blinds in Northwestern student Dee Dee Turlington’s dorm room were confirmed broken.

Turlington, who has never figured out how to put in a maintenance request, broke his blinds while lowering them to block the sun from shining in his eyes. His dorm room, located at 2303 Sheridan Road, room 326, faces directly west, making the late afternoon sun a nuisance.

“It seems like a pretty minor issue. Like, the cord is stuck. I don’t want to pull on it too hard, because then I’m afraid I’ll break it more. I think someone who knew what they were doing could probably open up the top unit and fix it no problem,” said Turlington. “If Northwestern wants to send one of their maintenance guys over to fix it, that’d be pretty cool.”

Turlington was last seen googling “NU maintenance request,” clicking on the first link that popped up, and accidentally submitting multiple maintenance requests into the Norwich University work request system.
