Liberal College Student Uses Social Media to Warn Liberal College Students of Trump Presidency

Describing Donald Trump as “dangerous,” “evil” and “dictatorial,” Ashley Coleman took to Facebook to warn her other friends, who coincidentally, also find Donald Trump to be “dangerous,” “evil” and “dictatorial.” Coleman, an English major, has committed to using her account to encourage her Facebook friends, who are also mostly English majors to #DumpTrump.

Coleman reportedly is not actually registered to vote, but believes that she is doing more important work, saying, “If people don’t know how bad Trump is, it doesn’t matter if they vote or not! And my last post got 67 likes, so I think that I have successfully halted Trump’s support among twenty-year-old liberal arts students.”

Proof of Coleman’s effectiveness came in the comments section of her post where her friends celebrated her bravery and political awareness. Roughly two thirds of the comments were endorsements of Bernie Sanders with one commenters saying, “I SUPPROTED BERNIE FROM THE W0MB!!!1!!!”

Coleman’s leap into the political discourse may in fact mark liberal twenty-somethings’ divergence from the Trump campaign. After the election, she is looking at bringing her activism towards other contentious topics among her Facebook friends, like whether or not women deserve voting rights.
