Big news from Emerson Street! Construction workers made a huge discovery at the site of the former 7-Eleven that once stood there: a whole other 7-Eleven directly under the site of the former convenience store. What a find! The perfectly preserved relic is quite the blast from the past. Some curious (and daring!) Evanston residents explored the underground anomaly and found shelves stocked with Nestlé Wonder Balls, Dunk-a-Roos and 40 pounds worth of T-Shirts from George H.W. Bush's 1988 presidential campaign.
