Freshman Actually Really Happy She Didn't Get a Top Sorority Bid, Now That She Thinks About It

EVANSTON, IL- After giving herself a full 40 minutes to reflect, School of Communications freshman Claire D’Silva has officially announced that she’s totally fine that she didn’t get a bid to a top sorority, and is not holding a grudge, like at all. “Now that I’ve taken a step back, I’m so over the whole thing,” states D’Silva, “I didn’t even like sororities to begin with, and now I have so much free time to really focus on me.”

D’Silva was offered a bid in another sorority, but turned it down because, come to think of it, she actually has a huge problem with how the Greek system works, and just like, how it pits girls against each other. “It’s actually better this way. I’m sure my friends will invite me to all their crush parties, so it’s basically like being a sister without any of the work. I’m living the dream.”

D’Silva also remarked that while she was super over the whole Greek thing, she hinted to press that she may rush again next year, when she’ll know everybody a lot better and be so much more settled, you know?
